NazLAN: Nazareth College LAN Party: Nazareth College hosts an annual LAN party. I designed a website to disseminate information about the event and to allow attendees to register for the event. Registrations are dumped into a mySQL database for easy retrieval by event staff.
MarketHOLD Productions: MarketHOLD Productions is a full-service marketing company, offering Audio Production, Marketing Services, Message-On-Hold, Public Relations, and Voice Talent. As part of my employment with them, I redesigned their website in all ways, including page layout, image/flash creation/editing, and web site coding.
Dingus & Rivoli Orthodontics: Working with Mike Bartolotta at MarketHOLD Productions, I created a website for the Dingus & Rivoli Orthodontics Practice, allowing patients and prospective patients the chance to learn more about the quality orthodontic services offered by Dr. Bill Dingus and his team.
Brite Construction: As part of my employment with MarketHOLD Productions, I designed and coded a website for Brite Construction in Richmond, VA. It features samples of their work, as well as an easy way for potential clients to communicate with the owner without the risk of spam e-mail.
Rochester Podiatrist Locator: As part of my employment with MarketHOLD Productions, I designed and coded a Podiatrist Locator website for podiatrists in the Rochester, NY area who are registered with the NYSPMA. Visitors can click on their area to pull down a comprehensive list of podiatrists, and then click to get a map and driving directions. Rochesterpodiatry.com is the premier portal for podiatrist information in Rochester, NY!
McQuaid Jesuit High School, Middle School Program: Everyone in Rochester knows about McQuaid and the fine Jesuit education it provides, but very few know about the exceptional middle school it also offers. Those who do know about it often get lost when they try to navigate through the High School's website. The Middle School Administrator came to us in 2004 and asked us to design an online presence that was both separate from and connected to the high school website. Now, middle school students, parents, and prospective students can find pertinent information with ease.
Boy Scout Troop 240: Troop 240 wanted a website where photos from trips could be posted and general recruitment information could be provided. We created a website for them that is easy to maintain and even easier to use!
Elmer P. Smith: Elmer is a chemical engineer with a specialty in Information Technology. Laid off due to a corporate restructuring, Elmer turned to Steven Smith Enterprises to design an online portfolio.
Matco Remodeling: Matco does building and remodeling throughout the Rochester area. One of the area's most referred contractors, Matco recognized early on the value of having a website. However, the cluttered layout and spelling/grammar errors, as well as the overall design of the old website reflected poorly on a company that prides itself on the quality and cleanliness of its work. In 2004, Marco Mattioli, the owner of Matco came to us about redoing his website. Now, his customers love the site and it gets over a hundred hits a day!
A Garden Preserved: Virginia Duncan of A Garden Preserved, a Boston company that specializes in dried flower arrangements, had a problem. She wasn't selling enough units. Sure, she'd sell a fair amount at shows and through friends, but many potential customers didn't even know she existed. Enter Steven Smith Enterprises. Now, she has a presence on the Internet and is able to accept orders online.
Stop Drunk Driving Eagle Scout Project: In early 2003, Steven Smith and a team of volunteers created this website as part of a project that was a requirement for the Eagle Scout Rank from the Boy Scouts of America. Working with Mothers Against Drunk Driving, a website was created with information about the project and drunk driving in general.
St. Charles Borromeo School: Our first website ever! St. Charles Borromeo School has since been renamed due to a merger of Diocese schools, but this website is an important part of our past, and thus it is mentioned here.
